- Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Refund Eligibility
NextGen provides a 7-calendar-day refund period from the date of enrolment.
A learner may request a full refund of the programme fee within 7 calendar days of enrolment.
The refund request must be submitted by contacting NextGen Customer Care at 9036801122 within the applicable 7-day period.
Once the 7-day refund period has expired, the programme fee becomes non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided under this policy.
2. After the Refund Period
Programme fees are non-refundable.
Enrolments are non-transferable to another person.
Non-attendance or discontinuation of the programme does not create an entitlement to a refund.
A learner who voluntarily stops attending the programme remains subject to the applicable programme terms.
3. Batch Change / Deferment
NextGen programmes are delivered through fixed cohorts with defined schedules and limited seats.
A learner may request a one-time batch change within the first 7 calendar days of enrolment, subject to availability of seats in the preferred batch, the preferred batch being offered by NextGen, approval by NextGen, and any applicable programme-specific conditions.
A batch change is not an automatic entitlement and is subject to operational availability.
After the first 7 calendar days, batch changes or deferment requests will generally not be available.
4. Unable to Continue the Programme
If a learner is unable to continue the programme after the applicable refund period, the programme fee remains non-refundable and non-transferable.
Learners are encouraged to contact the NextGen team as early as possible if circumstances arise that affect their ability to continue. Where applicable, NextGen may consider a batch-change request within the permitted period, subject to availability and approval.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, learners should contact NextGen Customer Care at 9036801122 within the applicable 7-calendar-day refund period.
The learner should provide their name, registered mobile number/email address, programme details and payment reference, if available.
Where physical books or other returnable materials have already been delivered, these must be returned to NextGen before the refund is processed.
The cost of returning the books/materials by courier will be borne by the learner.
Once the returned materials are received and the refund request is approved, the eligible refund will be processed to the original payment method.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 7–10 business days. The time taken for the amount to reflect in the learner’s account may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
7. Learning Materials, Books & Student Kits
Where a programme includes physical learning materials, books or a student welcome kit, NextGen may require such items to be returned where applicable before processing a refund.
Where physical materials have already been dispatched or delivered, the refund process may require the learner to return the applicable materials in accordance with instructions provided by NextGen.
Programme-specific terms may apply to physical materials supplied as part of an enrolment.
8. AAPC Examination & Membership Fees
For programmes preparing learners for the AAPC CPC® certification examination, AAPC examination and membership fees are separate from the NextGen programme fee and are paid directly to AAPC.
Any fees paid directly to AAPC are governed by AAPC’s applicable policies and are not covered by NextGen’s refund policy.
9. If NextGen Cancels or Changes a Programme
If NextGen cancels a programme or is unable to deliver a scheduled cohort, the learner will be offered an appropriate option, which may include transfer to the next available cohort or a full refund of the programme fee paid to NextGen.
If a significant change to the scheduled programme materially affects the learner’s enrolment, NextGen will communicate the available options to affected learners.
10. Promotional Offers & Special Enrolment Offers
Where a learner enrols using a special offer, promotional price, scholarship, discount or other preferential enrolment arrangement, the applicable offer terms will apply in addition to this policy.
Unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of enrolment, the 7-calendar-day refund period applies to the amount actually paid by the learner.
11. Institutional Programmes
This policy applies to individual learner enrolments.
Programmes delivered through colleges, universities or other institutional partnerships may be governed by the terms of the applicable institutional agreement, MoU, purchase order or other written arrangement.
Where such an agreement contains specific refund, cancellation or transfer terms, those terms will apply to the institutional engagement.
12. Policy Changes
NextGen may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The policy applicable to a learner will generally be the version in effect at the time of that learner’s enrolment, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
